FAQs about clik service

Investing in job management software is an important step if you want to make your business more efficient. It can also feel like a big step, so it’s normal to have a lot of questions. We thought it might help if we answered a few of the more common ones for you now.

How do I manage my engineers?

In Clik Service, you can access the ‘Engineer Schedule’ in the ‘Diary’. This feature allows you to see the availability of your engineers, create jobs and allocate them.

Once a job has been assigned to an engineer, the job sheet can be viewed away from the office using one of our handy remote solutions – Clik Remote, which is web-based or Clik Jobs, our mobile app.

If your engineer is using Clik Jobs, they will be sent a push notification to make them aware when a new job is ready to be downloaded onto their app.

Will it work with my account package?

Clik Service currently integrates with Sage, Xero and QuickBooks. This means you can easily create an invoice and send it straight to your accounts package.

What if my engineers don’t have mobile data or WiFi access?

Engineers have the ability to work offline without mobile data or WiFi access using our Clik Jobs software; allowing you to send your engineers a job while they’re in the office or on the road. If they’re on a site with bad network connectivity, they can save all their job info on their mobile device and send it over when they have a signal.

How can I set up my CRM?

We can retrieve your customer and supplier database from your accounts package before importing it into Clik Service. We can use an Excel spreadsheet if you don’t use an accounting package.

Will I get any training?

Yes; you’ll get an hour of free online training when you purchase Clik Service. If you get stuck at any point after this, you can visit our Support Site or purchase additional online or onsite training. We also have loads of How To videos, articles in our support site and a lovely technical support team so if you ever run into a problem, we are on hand to help.

Will you help me with the setup?

Our setup team can log on to wherever Clik Service will be stored and install the software remotely for you. The installation will typically take a morning or an afternoon, then you’ll be all set! We will be in contact to arrange a convenient setup time for you.

  1. We have a problem with Jobs, in that when engineer puts his hours against the job, his hourly rate reverts to £0…& this sometimes gets missed when invoiced??

    1. Hi Andy,

      Allowing engineers to select rates when adding time items isn’t currently supported in Clik Jobs. However, we do plan to review this in 2019.
